This role will report to the Commercial Director and have an annual target which is aligned to the business’ objectives and long term strategy.

Cloud Gateway uses Salesforce CRM to manage its contacts and customers. The salesperson is responsible for maintaining accurate and up to date records for all their contacts at all times, to present accurate reports as and when required.

You are empowered to drive sales and deliver year on year additional revenue for Cloud Gateway.

Commission is uncapped. This role is perfect for a salesperson who is hungry for success.

Responsibilities/Objectives:
  • Achieve annual revenue target and be accountable for delivering it

  • Generate new leads through prospecting activities to develop a strong pipeline, working on the basis of 4 x target

  • Identify future opportunities with leads converted, develop relationships and close those over time

  • Demonstrate industry and product knowledge (Cloud Gateway specific training will be provided)

  • Make and manage sales appointments with prospects

  • Work with the SDR’s to improve the quality of qualified leads and meetings generated

  • Own the relationship with a prospect from start to finish including all requirements for

  • information, proposals, presentations or POCs to bring a deal to close

  • Work with the marketing and product teams to improve messaging, develop new sales strategies and plan their implementation

  • Share insights and knowledge with the business and the sales team to refine our sales and marketing activities and messaging

  • Be aware of and keep an eye on current competitors and emerging competitors.

  • Understand and demonstrate how to sell against them

  • Create a Sales Plan which will be reviewed quarterly with management

  • Attend external events such as social gatherings, meetups, events, exhibitions etc as required by the company and in the search for prospective clients.

  • Adhere to any and all company policies and procedures

Role Minimum Requirements
  • Good Communication skills - verbal, written, listening and presentational

  • Self motivated and self managing

  • Has a minimum of 3 years B2B sales experience preferably with an understanding of networking, cloud services and/or SaaS sales

  • Proven track record in delivering against targets

  • Understanding and demonstration of 1 or more sales methodologies such as Miller Heiman, TAS, Contribution Selling, Scotsman, etc.

  • Knowledge and experience of working with and selling to the Public Sector, Financial Services or Health industries may be an advantage
