Security Enforcement Core
All traffic from your connected endpoints, regardless of source, destination or direction, is forwarded through our Security Enforcement Core (SEC). From the SEC we can set your security policy and apply it to your entire network. If you add more clouds, sites or users to the network, the same policy will be consistency applied, managed and kept up to date.
By default, our platform comes equipped with Foundation Security, but it also supports:

Managing Security
As part of your managed service, Cloud Gateway become the custodians of your security policy, but you have full control over the rules you want to set for your organisation. We'll work with you to set your initial security policy - amendments are completed via a simple change request via our portal.
Foundation Security - Layer 3/ Layer 4
Acts as a bouncer to only let approved traffic in.
The Layer 3/Layer 4 firewall capabilities of this Foundation Security module will block network traffic that doesn’t conform to the standards you set from all connected endpoints. It’s base-level protection we offer as part of our SASE platform.
Firewall-as-a-Service
(FWaaS)
An advanced firewall for tighter traffic security.
FWaaS ramps up protection by letting you manage, adapt, scale, and respond to traffic and threats. This cloud-native security includes anti-virus and anti-malware, deep packet inspection, IPS/IDS, Geo IP-blocking and IP reputation.
Web Application Firewall (WAF)
Super sophisticated security.
Working at layers four to seven, our WAF service provides an enhanced set of protections. It sits firmly between external consumers and your web applications to safeguard critical business data, whether hosted in the cloud or on-premise.
Secure Web Gateway (SWG)
Blocks access to threats on the internet.
The SWG contains a set of protections against internet-borne threats. With URL filtering, application control, DNS inspection, and proxy services, it blocks malicious websites, keywords, and connections according to your policies. Adopt alongside other security services or on its own.

Out of the box, our platform comes with Foundation Security. If you'd prefer more than our basic protections, we offer Firewall-as-a-Service (FWaaS). Secure Web Gateway (SWG) and Web Application Firewall (WAF) are also available.
